Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

DocuInfo AI ("DocuInfo," "we," "us") is operated by B2BDATA LLC, 1244 Galen St, Duarte, CA 91010. DocuInfo lets you upload financial documents, such as bank statements and receipts, and turns them into structured data you can review and export.

This policy explains what information we collect when you use docuinfo.ai and our document-processing service, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email support@docuinfo.ai.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service.

Account information: name, email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never in plain text), and optional company name. You provide this when you sign up or edit your profile.
Documents you upload: the files you upload (for example, bank statements and receipts) and the data we extract from them, such as account details, balances, transactions, merchants, dates, and amounts.
Your corrections: changes you make to extracted data in the review editor.
Billing information: plan, subscription status, and billing history. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
Usage information: pages processed, document types, upload dates, and processing status.
Technical information: IP address, browser type, and basic request logs, collected automatically by our hosting providers.
Website analytics: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you arrived at our site, collected through Google Analytics cookies (see section 8).

Documents you upload may contain personal information about you or other people (for example, names and account numbers on a bank statement). Only upload documents you have the right to share with us.

3. How we use your information

We use your information only to provide and improve DocuInfo:

Process your documents: send uploaded files to our document-extraction provider, create your results, and generate CSV, Excel, and JSON exports.
Run your account: sign you in, track your monthly page usage against your plan, and show your document history.
Bill you: manage subscriptions, payments, upgrades, and cancellations through Stripe.
Support and communicate: answer your questions and send service emails, such as account verification, password resets, and billing notices.
Keep the service secure: prevent abuse, enforce plan limits, and fix errors.

We do not sell your personal information or your documents. We do not use your documents or extracted data to train AI models, and we do not share them with advertisers.

4. Service providers we share data with

We share information only with the providers that run parts of DocuInfo for us. They may use it only to provide their services to us.

Microsoft Azure (United States): extracts data from your documents (Azure AI Document Intelligence), stores files privately (Azure Blob Storage), and runs our processing server. For utility bills, Azure OpenAI may also be used to organize charge lines; its results are checked against the amounts printed on your bill. Data involved: uploaded documents, extracted data, and exports.
Supabase (United States): user sign-in and our database. Data involved: account information, document records, and usage.
Stripe (United States and other countries): payments and subscriptions. Data involved: billing details, email, and plan.
WeWeb: hosts the docuinfo.ai website and app screens. Data involved: technical information and pages you visit.
Google Analytics (United States and other countries): measures website traffic and usage. Data involved: pages viewed, device and browser information, approximate location, and how you arrived at our site. It does not receive your documents or extracted data. See section 8.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

5. How long we keep your data

Original uploaded files: deleted automatically 7 days after upload.
Temporary files on our processing server: deleted after each upload finishes.
Copies held by our extraction provider (Azure): marked for deletion as soon as your results are saved.
Extracted data, your corrections, and exports: kept until you delete the document or your account, so your Document History and downloads keep working.
Account and billing records: kept while your account is open, then as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal requirements (generally up to 7 years).

You can delete any document from your Document History at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, email support@docuinfo.ai from your account email address; we will cancel any subscription and delete the account within 30 days. Copies in our providers' backups are removed on their normal backup schedule, within 30 days.

6. How we protect your data

All connections to DocuInfo use encryption in transit (HTTPS).
Uploaded files and exports are stored in a private storage container with public access turned off. Our cloud providers encrypt stored data by default.
Every download and edit checks that you are signed in and that the document belongs to your account.
Database rules let each user see only their own documents and profile.
Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe.

No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

7. Your rights and choices

You can:

Access and update your name and company in your Account settings.
Download your extracted data as CSV, Excel, or JSON from Document History.
Delete individual documents, or your whole account.
Cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page.
Ask us for a copy of your personal information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing support@docuinfo.ai. We will respond within 45 days.

California residents: under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If you live in another state or country with privacy laws, we will honor the rights those laws give you.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember choices, such as the plan you selected before signing up. Stripe uses its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages to process payments and prevent fraud.

Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use our website, for example which pages are visited, how visitors arrive (such as from a search engine), and whether they sign up or upgrade. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location (city or country), and the website that referred you. It does not receive your uploaded documents or the data extracted from them.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not use Google Analytics data for advertising.

Your choices: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

9. Other important information

Children. DocuInfo is a business tool for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

International users. DocuInfo is operated from the United States, and your data is processed and stored in the United States.

Changes to this policy. If we make important changes, we will update the effective date and notify you by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
